I found this while looking for new BG recruits.
Is Anthony Turner on his way out? This new kid looks good, but I think I would rather have Turner.
I hadn't heard anything about this. I copied this from TheInsiders.com:
The MAC Conference just keeps rolling along as Midwest "Hot 100" quarterback Kevin Leady has given his verbal commitment to Bowling Green. How solid is that commitment? Take a look.
Kevin Leady, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback from Pemberville (Ohio) Eastwood doesn't have the upside of other top quarterback prospects in the Midwest but if I needed a quarterback today, Leady just might be my guy I’d grab.
Leady probably could have waited until December when some bigger D-1 schools would have came calling but he says he found the perfect fit at Bowling Green.
"I chose Bowling Green because they are close to home," Kevin Leady said.
"We basically run the same offense as Bowling Green and our coaches know the Bowling Green staff very well.
"I'm walking into a great situation, Anthony Turner (2004 signee) didn't qualify and won't be at Bowling Green next year. I could get a chance to play early."
Leady, a Midwest "Hot 100" selection is a very good signal caller who can hurt teams in the air and on the ground.
He threw for 1,962 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior. Kevin also rushed for 1,445 yards, scoring 26 touchdowns on the ground.
Is Leady's commitment solid?
"I'd say it's a soft commitment. I worked out at Cincinnati and they like me a lot. I'm still looking at a few other schools as well." Leady said.
Gregg Brandon and the Falcons have a tremendous quarterback verbally committed, now all they have to do is hang on to him until February.
Is Turner Leaving?

Gotcha...
I saw that it was old, but I hadn't heard anything about it. That is good to hear.
Either way, old and inaccurate news is one great way to start for my first post...
