THIS WEEK'S GAME: at Bowling Green, Oct. 1 -- This appears to be the last reasonable chance the Owls have to win a game this year. Their upcoming schedule looks like it was put together by a sadist because it includes teams like Miami (Fla.), Virginia, Miami (Ohio) and Clemson. Bobby Wallace needs his team to limit turnovers and make things happen with the running game.
I guess I could see where they say "they could beat a MAC school"... but they think that they have a better chance of winning at BG than home against Miami(OH). Uhhh... yeah.

we havent exactly played well so far..you gotta expect media to turn on us fast...thats what happens when you lose a few games in a mid major conference
dont worry about it...the team will show them if they are wrong or not on the field.
1-0 in MAC thats all that matters now at this point...we'll talk bowl games after the MACC game

And it's the way we've lost them, too. Our team is in no position to look past anyone right now.

yea, things would be different if we weren't giving up 40 points a game. Let's face it we have looked BAD but it is time to turn it around and have a good MAC season. the non conference games don't mean anything after Temple anymore. Time to move on
BG has played two good quarters of offensive football. No good quarters of defensive football and the special teams and kicking game are non-existent.
GB & company don't hate losing. It doesn't eat at them. It's all rationalized. That apparently has translated to the players. The intangibles are not there.
This game doesn't matter, only the MAC games do. But Temple thinks they can win and BG knows they may lose. It's coaching. It's got to change. If it doesn't, this will not be a long season. . . it will be a very short one.

I dunno, the first quarter in Madison wasn't too shabby until late, and even then, I'd be willing to say the tide turned when a big defensive play forced a switch at QB and they found their running game.
