Attendance looks pretty good for Saturday!
Well, I finally ambled over to the ticket office to buy my season tix (hint...if you're moving, mail that kind of crap before you move, you'll never get around to it otherwise) for the coming season.
The kid in the tix office said they were down to selling section 10 for bench reserved. Thankfully, I was able to get three chairbacks for the entire season, but there weren't a lot of those left either.
To quote the "ticket kid" ..."If the weather holds and everyone shows up, it will be a really good crowd".
Looks like there'll be tents all the way to the driveway around the parking lot also.
Well...I'm predicting a crowd of 24,232.

I think it was that way last year for HC too, but a very cool atmosphere, nonetheless, especially with weather in the mid-70s... looks like my tailgating day is starting around 9-10am, and I can't freaking wait to get up there!Flipper wrote:Looks like there'll be tents all the way to the driveway around the parking lot also.

Great news about the tickets... I figured we'd have a decent crowd, but that's awesome... Hope I'm not screwed waiting to get my tickets the day of the game...

Hey that is good news! I keep thinking some great weather will help the walk up crowd.
The Freaks will be arriving by 11:30 to TG. I can't freakin wait to see the Falcons come flying outta that tunnel.
It has been waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long without a home game.
Just finished loading up the Freakstyle for the trip to Huron and BG. I think we get over 23,000....just shy of a sell out.
WELCOME HOME, FALCONS!!! Crush the Owls.

That's the visitors section. A very good sign.Flipper wrote:The kid in the tix office said they were down to selling section 10 for bench reserved.
(I think this is horribly out of date, but it's what appears on BGSUfalcons.com)

Go here http://ev8.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce ... inkID=bgsu and click on Seating Charts. It is more up to date.

Stadium Capacity
Hey guys, what is Doyt's seating capacity these days? I know it used to be 30K or so, but I seem to remember it being scaled down a couple of times.
Looks good on the attendance numbers for Saturday. Good luck and smack the Owls back to the East Coast.

I believe our actual capacity is 23,724 (or something like that) now....basically what it was until the bleachers were installed back in the early 80's to get up to 30,000 for the NCAA ruling. Would be great to get a sold out crowd after starting the first MONTH on the road.
GO FALCONS!

Not to beat a dead horse, but the FMB Field House show starts at 2, and it'd be great to see some other AZZers there!Falconfreak90 wrote:Hey that is good news! I keep thinking some great weather will help the walk up crowd.
