I know it was a kick-off, sorry for a typing error. He may be one of our most athletic guys, but there are other players you put in out there before your quarterback. If we are in good enough shape to put out QB out there instead of RB's or WR's, then I believe that shows we aren't attempting to run of the score. Sure Turner could have broke one for a TD, but in a position sense, if you can have a QB out there, you aren't trying to score TD's on kick returns. If that was the case, why isn't Vince Young returning kick-offs?Warthog wrote: It was kickoff return, not punt. And Turner is probably one of the fastest, most athletic guys on the team. How would that be showing sportsmanship?
Sitting in the front row, I couldn't help but notice Chuck go running and jumping with his hands in the air from behind the bench near 40 on the far side of the field, to go celebrate with Corey. He was definitely excited and that is great to see.Spart43 wrote: The punt return was great and I also noticed that Chuck was pretty excited about it when Corey got back to the sidelines. It's great to see a senior get excited for a young guy having success.
