I believe that OwlScoop.com is about as good as it gets on the Temple BBS front.

It's a Rivals site and it sucks. You can get 30 days free if you give them your credit card number....then you start paying. As far as I could tell they won't even let you read the posts w/o signing up.

(FWIW, as a general matter, I agree with you that Rivals blows dead chipmunks.)
