Any word from FalconFreak?

Post by Spart43 »

As I was leaving the game I heard that the Freak left early. I heard one of the freaklings took a spill on one of the kiddie rides in the endzone and hit his head.

Has anyone heard anything about this? Is this true and are they OK?

Any word would be appreciated, I am very concerned about our Freaklings.

Hey Spart and everyone,

We had to leave 2 minutes into the third quarter yesterday cuz Jake took a tumble over the side of the velcro attraction. I was still in our seats with our oldest son, Josh, and Mrs. Freak came running up the stands yelling that we had to get over to the ambulance.

Seems Jake's momentum carried him over the top and he landed on his head and chest! Man, the little dude has some bruises today! The ambulance took him over to Wood County Hospital so he could get checked out, get some X rays and make sure nothing was wrong. He seems fine today and I thank God he was not injured severely!! With Mrs. Freak and her auto accident earlier this year and now this?
I just wanted Jake to be ok....sure we missed the 2nd half but his well being is the most important thing. Seeing him on that stretcher was no fun and I always thought it would be if he got hurt playing for the Falcons, not bouncing outta some kids attractions! Today Jake said, "Dad, this week I'm gonna stay in the stands and watch the game." Bless his little heart.

I'm sorry we didn't get to see Corey's huge punt return but a couple folks here taped the game for me so I'll get to see it anyway!

I want to thank BGSU 96 and 99 for stopping over at the hospital after the game to see how Jake was. We really appreciate your concerns. Same with my main man Tim O'Hare. He also stopped by. And Falcon Fanatic?? THANK YOU for your concerns and passing the word to other folks.

Mrs. Freak and I were kinda laughing about it today...she says "Poor Honey...he had to wait all this time for a home game and then had to leave halfway thru!"

Other than that, we had such a good time yesterday. It was great to see so many folks and have a blast watching our Falcons.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and concerns. We really appreciate it!!

GO FALCONS!! C everyone Saturday as we CRUSH THE CATS!!!

Oh my gosh! I heard the ambulance go out. I am soooooo glad to hear that one of the beloved Freaklings is ok. Having seen them at Ball State, I can see why you and Mrs. Freak are kept busy, but busy in the hospital is not the idea.

Hope he comes off the injured reserved and is a starter for next week's kicking contests!

I am SOOO glad Jake is ok!!! That is what is most important!!! Now, on to the other important stuff....taping the game you missed. For some reason it was NOT replayed tonight as promised. We kept checking that channel all night long and it was never on.

DID ANYONE ELSE TAPE THE GAME??? I am so sorry that I don't have the game taped for you, Freak!! Can't figure out why it wasn't on tonight. If anyone knows if it is going to be replayed any time this week, let me know, so I can tape it for Freak!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

FF,
Good news! Ham0331 was able to tape it in Grand Rapids! He said the broadcast was very sharp and he got it done.

Mike....that was your kid getting taken away on the stretcher?????

I saw him being rolled out when I was walking back to the Falcon Club tent.

Is he day to day or Probable for Ohio?

That's great news Freak. I am so glad he is ok. Corey has had his share of injuries during his playing years and it is not pleasant when your child is hurt in any manner. Being a parent is a tough job. The game is of no importance when something like this happens.

Since you missed Corey's run back, I will just have to talk him into scoring against Ohio and dedicating it to Jake. Or maybe better yet the team can dedicate a big win over the bobcats for Jake.

Now I can't wait to see Jake at the Ohio game. He's a gamer, I am sure he will be ready to go. After all there is that Bobcat mascot to be taken care of... :D

I heard the unfortunate news on my way out of the stadium, thanks Falcon Fanatic, and was hoping to hear everything turned out ok.

Our thoughts were with you guys on Saturday, can't wait to get back at it this Saturday!!!

JS85,

Yeah, it was Jake. :( They just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong. We were taking absolutely no chances on that. He is a go for Ohio! He wouldn't miss it for anything.

Spart,

Thanks man! When the team was doing the walk thru tent city, Jake was going off with his Falcon Screech.
I'll let the little soldier know how much everyone was concerned for him.
I really love that little boy as well as his bro Josh. They are truly a gift from God and you never want to see them get hurt. I'll also be letting them know about the Bobcat mascot cuz with 87 bringing Noah, that cat is gonna have to contend with 3 now.

Again, thanks everyone.

Freak:

I gotta tell ya, Noah has asked about Josh & Jake approximately 1,000 times in the last week. He's really psyched to see them again!

Oh, how I do hope Ohio brings their mascot. Noah's been looking to unload on someone!
