Luke Alexander?
Luke Alexander?
He was impressive in the spring game, and I figured he'd see action this year at least as a backup. Was on the two-deep at the start of fall camp. When he wasn't on the two-deep for the Wisconsin game, I figured a redshirt was in store. Now he's not even listed on the roster. Does anyone know what gives?

That's a shame. He looked like he could be a star in the spring game. I expected to see him & Partridge tearing up secondaries for the next few years. I just figured they wanted to redshirt him with the WR talent we've already got, and that was why we hadn't seen him.
Oh well...best of luck to him with whatever he pursues.

This news really disappoints me. Out of high school, this kid had some other offers but he chose BG. I hope we get the real story on why he quit.
Here is a kid who graduated high school early, enrolled at BG and took part in our Spring practices. He had a great game in the Spring game.
I just wonder if he had expectations of playing time this year as true freshman? On top of that he sees Corey Partridge getting playing time ahead of him and the coaching staff wants him to resdshirt.
This kid may have had visions of coming in here early and making an impact this year. When that didn't materialize, maybe he bolted? Kids egos can be hard to manage...especially if he thinking he could have gone somewhere else and been playing.
I hope the trutrh comes out? It be interesting to see where he lands. Does he have to sit out a year
