They sell Yueng in KY? Sweet!

It's about 50/50 I'll be on call this weekend -- if I'm not, I'll certainly swing by the tent for a while and meet some of ya'll.

Of course for some Yueng I might just say screw the company..Because you have to ask yourself...Is this good for me?

I haven't looked real hard, they might, I found in all the way down in Oak Island NC last weekend (close to cape Fear). Mine actually comes from PA. My brother is a recent PSU grad and normally sends me some. This I picked up at his wedding in June, stocked up on it to be percise. Always willing to share with new friends.

I usually grab a case every time I'm home but my hometown distributor closed down so I didn't get any last time. I'm jonesin for some home state lager =)

I've spoken to some Acme beverage reps and they are in talks to bring Yueng to Ohio but I don't know how close that is to fruition. I know it's spread to a few southern states and parts of NY. I would be a very happy panda if it became available in this area. Come to think of it, i would probably become a very happy, fat, alcoholic panda.

What's your favorite beer and I'll bring some to barter with

Are you expecting to still have a decent amount of each size left? (Obviously as band members I and some others who wanted to buy shirts won't be able to be at the tent...)

Well ass-monkey, keep your fingers and toes crossed that we make it back to the GMAC Bowl this year. In Mobile, they have Yuengling

ON TAP.

Amazing.

There ain't much I like about Penn., but Yuengling is definately one of them... 8)

Yes. I got plenty printed up (and I THINK I get to pick them up today!!!) Don't you worry about the band... I wouldn't leave you guys out, granted, brass players will get priority... but that's a given.

Here's the official stance on the electricity:

The policy is that electricity will not be provided by the university. If your tent requires electricity you are responsible for finding an alternate source. If you have any other questions please let me know.

That's better than them promising electricity and not having it available.

I believe in year's past you were able to park your truck next to the tent, were you not? In my tailgating equipment we have a 600w power inverter. It's what we use to watch TV, etc.

If your crockpot(s) can run on 600 watts we could use that. I know that we tried an electric skillet and it was a no go. A lot of cooking things seem to want a LOT of juice, so not sure if the 600 would be enough. I'll have it there, regardless, so we can give it a try.

We could all pitch in and rent a generator. They're not that expensive to rent and the new ones are fairly quiet. Of course, the biggest expense may be the gasoline to run it.

Try to get there early enough for the team's walk down tent row. Coach Brandon mentioned it on WLQR's Front Row yesterday-how great it was last week and how much it means to the team. It is also pretty exciting as a fan to be part of that.
