Congratulations, Brian, you REALLY deserve this honor!!!!

Here are Coach Paluch's comments about Brian from the press conference quotes after last night's game:

Can you talk about Brian Holzinger a bit and about him being inducted into the Hall of Fame?
"The first time I went on the road recruiting it was a game up in Windsor to watch Brian play. At that time there were a couple of coaches that went and watched him play and said that guy is pretty good. After we got him I thought this recruiting stuff was pretty easy. He turned out to be not only a tremendous player here, but even more importantly he is a tremendous young man who exemplified everything in the classroom, off the ice and on the ice, which is what we want out of our players."
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
