You know... it's really difficult...

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

To hear how much fun you all had on Saturday. I mean, I'm glad it was a great atmosphere (the resounding theme of the posts) and I'm glad it was gorgeous weather... And I'm glad TG was nice enough to let me know via TXT messages how perfect the tailgating environment was... but DAMN it's hard when you can't be there. UGH...

Anyhow... Here's the wife and I getting ready for mom's wedding. Gotta say, I did represent the Orange and Brown pretty well, even if I couldn't be in BG for the game. ;-)

See you all this Saturday!!

(I think a few of you have met my mom... if you have any interest in seeing pics from her wedding, they're available on my personal gallery pages http://www.pepperguy.com/gallery/ I believe she was dubbed "Mamma-Zoomba" at one tailgate a couple years ago. ;-) )

I know what you mean Grant about feeling that way by missing the game. Now you know how I felt for the last eight years living in Virginia. :) The day ESPN Gameday came to BG for the BG/NIU game, I had to go to a wedding myself. There was no way out of it, I was in the wedding party. It was killing me!!! The funny thing was, I was checking score updates on my cell phone whenever I could. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Oh so true... LOL... here's a shot of Maryellen's computer monitor as we were getting ready to leave. ;-) That streaming feed from Philly was sweet!!!

Will Den be there on Saturday??? Is Mitch around or has he been deployed? I've been SO out of touch lately...

Thanks for the kind words too... Maryellen looks great in that pic... I'm just along for the ride. ;-) You could put a pile of horse crap next to her and it would look good. :-)

Den should be back this weekend. Mitch is currently training in Indiana for the next few weeks and then will be heading over to Iraq. I am trying to keep in constant touch with him.

You were missed in alumni band, Grantly. Perhaps next year.

I particularly enjoyed the planter growing out of the top of your head. It put that final touch on your outfit (that, and Mrs. ZiggyZoomba, of course).

Seriously, you were missed and FF and I are looking forward to seeing you guys next Saturday!

Yes, the scenery was fantastic. Although I heard it got better after I went into the game. Unfortunately, with the beer in one hand and chicken leg in the other, my pictures were limited to *during* the game.
