Where are the OLD jerseys?

Post by Dayons_Den »

I am assuming with the new ones that we wore on Monday night that NIke gave the team new jerseys (as opposed to taking off the old lettering).

I guess first I ask if the above assumption is correct.

I know that sometimes the supplier actually "owns" the uniforms, taking in old ones and exchanging them for new ones with the school/team.

All that aside, anyone know if they have any old jerseys to sell?

I always seem to miss out on the great athletic department garage sales, but it's almost better I did or I would go broke in about 1/2 an hour!

Any garage sales coming up???

they might have possibly become "practice" jerseys like the football team did with there's Although, I'd imagine a few were kept for the sales.

Practice jerseys are usually different colors to distinguish lines. The old jerseys won't become practice jerseys. I think they usually give the players and/or their families a chance to buy the old jerseys. Those that are left are sold off first come first serve.

Note: I may be wrong but I'm sure that, if I am, my lovely wife will soon be on here to correct me! :)

I have no idea if there will be a sale this year. Lately, the "leftovers" (the ones left after the seniors have been given theirs at the banquet) have been sold to a someone who buys them in bulk and gives a good chunk of change for them. I will check and see if there is going to be one, but I don't think so.

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I think that individual ends up putting them up on eBay for sale. Seem to see a lot of Falcon Hockey jerseys up there that aren't being sold by the Athletic Department.

Yeah, you're probably right.... Would rather see local fans get them first!!
