Windscreen of new facility in NIU's End Zone

Post by BGSU33 »

Anyone see the giant windscreen with a picture of NIU's new end zone facility in NIU's end zone? I wish we had something like the until the SEBO gets built.....it looks a heckuva lot better than the cement slab we have showing in our end zone.

AGREED!!!!! Hell, painted plywood would be an improvement. NIU has some very nice facilities. Their convocation center is amazing, and this will just add to their facilities.

Yes, but this does not change the fact that they should still run their asses all the way back to DIAA.

No way - keep the cement slab showing out there and don't hide it. That way, you remind those who consistently bitch about it to open up their wallets and donate some $$$ so we can build it.

Sure we do. I mean technically NIU, Miami and BG were all 1-AA back in '82. I would just chalk the 1-AA comment as an ill-conceived joke. Plus, we are only 3-2 against them since they returned to the MAC.

Good find Kdog. You can bring that up anytime and NIU would have nothing to say. Western Illinois??? That is bad.

Funny, I must have imagined that whole ordeal with the ESPN GameDay crew coming to BG and watching the Falcons make mincemeat out of NIU for the whole country to see.

My reaction after your claim that BG "can't" beat NIU was somewhat similar to an ESPN programming executive after seeing the ratings for the Silicon Valley Bowl last year
