I already talked about this with the ticket office... but I asked them if my father could sit with me.. And they said that as long as they buy a ticket, then they can sit with me... and I wouldn't be sitting in the front.. .I would be sitting up in the top of the student section....so there ya go

Stupid me...I though tuition was for my education, not for my seats at the games
Tuition gets you student status and a student ID...

That is technically what you need to sit in a student section.

Only because  Erin  was there. No male student in his right mind was going to scream and yell and have them tossed out.

although that may be true. they also cheered when things were going well and also when the team needed support. they were not stereotypical fans who only cheered when the team was winning. they were a pleasure to talk to except one time when suisham missed a 30-35 yarder and i said "ouch!" nothing negative and they turned around and said "it was the holder's fault!!!!"

I'll leave the Freudian reference alone here, in deference to my wife, the psychologist.

I remember that -- they went nuts after that comment. Of course that was the year Suisham was doing his best Timchenko impression.

They were the same at both home and away games. I always sat with them at away games because of that.

One time we were all standing up in the front row at an away game (forget where it was) and a lady parent told me I was in her way. Shuan's mom grabbed my arm and said, "She can move just as easily as you can sit down." :D

Maybe you are misunderstanding my argument. Tek was making it seem like it was the end of the world and that students can't sit with their parents anymore. My point is that if they really want to, plan ahead and get reserved seats. Don't just expect to show up and be able to sit in the student section as a non-student. Do I personally mind parents sitting there? Hell no...as long as they are cheering. But technically, the student section is for students. So if a non-student is forced out of it, don't complain.

I know you are giving me a hard time, but there are still other people reading that need things explained more in-depth sometimes.
