Nate Fry's Big Press Day

Post by UK Peregrine »

Here's an article with a little on fake punts, extra points, field goals and punting.

And another one that was in the Sentinel.

Good for Nate! He has been one of my favorite guys on the team ever since he litterally dragged four defenders for seven or eight yards to pick up a first down on a fake punt during the 2003 MACC game. He is a bad-ass player and deserves all of the press he can get! GO NATE!

Often when a player is featured in the paper, they then follow that up with a crappy game, hope that doesn't happen to Nate!! It's like this stupid curse or something that happens to them. I, however, remain postitive and know that he will have another phenomenal game and not let the attention go to his head!!! :D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

As long as he goes out and makes 10 of 10 PAT's again today, we'll be fine.

At the Motor City Bowl game we sat in front of Nate's grandparents. Grandma cheered her heart out for "Natey". My daughters got a big kick out of it.
