Root for Oklahoma against Texas

This Saturday, let's hope among other things that:

1-BG smashes the Bobcats bigtime.
2-That Omar has another spectacular game.
3-That P. J. and B. J. have a strong game.
4-That we get some good playing time for our young players.

On a side note, let's all root for Oklahoma against Texas and Heisman hopeful QB Vince Young.

I'd really be surprised if Oklahoma wins. But I believe they have defeated Texas 5 times in succession and Texas' coach, Mack Brown, has never won against the Sooners.

A good day for Omar and a lackluster day for Young could help Omar in the Heisman race.

Young's performance today will have no effect on Omar's chances to get to NY. VY will be a finalist, as will Leinart and Bush. We need to root against the fringe candidates like the Drew Stantons, Brady Quinns, and Brian Calhouns of the world. They will need to struggle to leave a void in that 4-5 spot for Omar to fly into.
