I have little to base this on -- but I have a fantastic feeling about this game. IMO, I don't think it will be close.

I'm with you. This has smelled like a trap game since I was walking out of the stadium in Muncie. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't get the trap game comparison. A trap game is generally thought of to be directly before, directly after, or sandwiched between big games. We destroyed a creampuff last week (Temple), and we'll most likely destroy a creampuff next game (UBuff). Why wouldn't the majority of the players' and coaches' energies be focused squarely on the kittens?

I agree with Rightupinthere, this game makes me nervous. Too bad I have to work.

In my list of predictions that have been nowhere near close (Well, maybe 66-17 over Temple was *kinda* close) from before the season started, I threw out 48-23 BG today. I think I'll stick with it.

Though I'll commend you guys for keeping your uneasyness/negativity/whatever inside until Saturday.

I had a bad feelling about it, but then I realized that it was just the impeding birthday party for my 4 year old daughter filled with a bunch of "little people."

I survived.......as did the house, strangely enough.

your daughter is friends with midgets? awesome.

We're now squarely in the driver's seat to win the East. If we can split with Miami and Toledo, we win the East unless something odd happens. This team is improving every week (except for Special Teams) and that's all we can ask for.

Screw splitting those two games - LET'S TAKE 'EM BOTH!

If our Defense can continue to play like they did today, this season might turn out much, MUCH better than any of us have been thinking. 8)

I think we still have to beat Miami if we want to win the division. Yes they lost to NIU, but correct me if I'm wrong, that's an interdivisional game. That loss won't really hurt them unless they end up in a tie at the end of the year. I don't think the rest of the season will be that difficult. As much as I hate Toledo, and hate lossing to them even more, the "big" game remaining for us to play is Miami. I have a feeling that the winner of that game wins the division, and plays in Detroit end of Nov.
