Might sound stupid but

On my way to the BG vs. NI game last season, I could have sworn I saw a group of guys playing Rugby and they had Bowling Green Falcons uniforms on, is that just some student thing or jus some people who like Rugby, they looked like college kids.

BGSU has a very highly ranked "club" rugby team, nearly every year.

To clarify, a "club" sport is a non-schlorship sport, but the University somewhat endorses it. It is more like intramurals. But in a "club" sport, you play teams from other schools. All the fun and work of competing and representing your school but no athletic scholarship.

I think BG has a "club" hockey team too. Probably some others that I don't know about either.

Michelle and I were on campus in the spring to see a baseball game. We wandered over to the intramural fields and got to see the BGSU Lacrosse team in action, also a great club sport at BGSU! Michelle and I enjoy Lacrosse. I just wish we could find out more about the BGSU team, like their schedule, so we could see more of their games.

Ok, some things don't change. The last post was me, logged in as Michelle. DOH! Hey, look for my thread on former BG Baseball Player Kelly Hunt. He is really kicking butt for Detroit's Class A Affiliate, the West Michigan Whitecaps.
