Getting lettering on a sweater?

Post by Bleeding Orange »

I was just thinking that my BG road sweater looks a little bare, and I would love to get Jordan's name and nubmer put on it. I remember someone telling me a while ago that Aardvark can do this - is this true, and if so does anyone have an idea of how much it would cost? And if not, is there any place else in or around town that might do it?

If this is feasible, I would ideally like to mail it back and pick it up before the Northern Michigan game on the 19th! :D

I dunno about anywhere in BG, but I do know of a place in A2 that does good work. If you're mailing it anyway and can't find a place in BG (which I would recommend trying to do first, just like you're doing now) then this other place might be an option.

I've gotten my greek letter shirts from Collegate Connection, and they've done a good job. I don't know if they can help you out with your sweater, but I know they do that kind of work.

Wizard Graphics in downtown BG. That's where I got mine done at. I think they do some of the nameplates for the team, or at least they used to.

It was back in 94 when it was done. I just had my last name put on it in two-color letters. Cost about $25 if I remember correctly.

It depends on the design and the number of stitches.

I'm going to be calling Wizard Graphics tomorrow. Anything under $50, and I'm in. 8)

Also, please keep me posted as to whether or not they start selling versions of the new home sweaters. I really, really can't afford one, but I really, REALLY want one! :P

I called Wizard Graphics today and was met by a really, really rude woman who immediately dismissed my question. The conversation lasted for about 20 seconds before she hung up the phone in disgust. Some nerve I have!

Does anyone know of a place that isn't run by crazy people that might be able to this? There has to be a way. :?
