I picked up another preseason basketball magazine, this one the Sporting News. Basically, it’s pretty much the same as all the other magazines with Ohio this, Ohio that….Ohio, Ohio, Ohio. It also had BG picked last in the MAC East. Here’s a breakdown of the magazine:

Yeah, with all of the talent in our incoming freshmen class (Dusan especially), I suspect this team will suprise more than a lot of people this year.
There is no reason that we should be pessimistic at this point, especially if this team possesses half of the good shooters people like Metz say we have. I for one trust Metz a lot more than I trust these highly subjective and commercially-driven magazines.
