If you want to be sarcastic or stupid about it, then what is your excuse for blowing a 20 point halftime lead and losing last year? Is it the over-inflated balls that Omar spoke of? You know, the ones that BG provided and he obviously didn't know about.
There should be no excuses in our rivalry when the other team wins. Since 1980, Toledo has defeated BG 13 times in football and BG has defeated Toledo 12 times in football. If history continues it will be 13 wins for both schools in the last 26 games, after the game played at the Doyt this November. I don't care what rivalry you are talking about, it doesn't get any better than that.
i have no problem with the rivarly. i think it's great. rivalries make college athletics exciting. i just usually hope that BG is on the positive side of the rivalry.
