Trying to Keep the Faith!!!

Post by BourbonFalcon »

Doesn't sound like Omar is playing very well. Already thrown for one interception and was 2 for 6 throwing in the first quarter. It's tied in the second, 7-7 with BG driving. Hopefully it's just a slow start. BJ Lane is aparently tearing it up, on a positive note! Come on BG!

14-7 Omar to Sanders.

We knew this game wouldn't be easy, it's a road game and UB has a good defense.

I think BG will pull away second half.

Omar picked off again.

Not a good game for the offense.

Hey guys! Newbie here posting for the first time! I am glad to be a member of this community!
I am listening to the game right now and am starting to get really frustrated. I really am trying hard to keep it positive for the Falcons, but our defense and special teams really need to wake up and step it up. Buffalo has scored 4 TD's all season and we already gave them one. Omar has 4 interceptions already this year after having 4 all last season. I know it is never easy to repeat such AMAZING stats, but something is going on with our man Omar. Don't get me wrong he is still an excellent QB though. Is all the hype getting to his head? I am just worried. I know we WILL win today, but we got some big games coming up and this needs to be corrected.
On a more positive note... Good job on the TD's and fumble recovery!!! :D
Oh crap right as I was posting this Omar was intercepted yet again :(

Sounds like the boys just aren't playing with much passion or spark.

Road games this year look like they will be a struggle...which for the Miami U game right now scares me a lot.

Need a strong 2nd half...2 straight games now up 14-7 at half, I think some offensive changes need to be in store...people can read our offense too well right now.

Go Falcons, step up the energy!

The radio keeps saying how uncomfortable Omar looks today. I hope this isn't an indication that he might be a little banged up or something. I sure hope we can figure out what heppens to us when we leave the Doyt. It's very frustrating to see the team get better only to regress on the road. It does sound like our defense is starting to develop an identity. Hopefully they can keep it up. We need an awesome second half!
