Need Help Accessing Radio

Post by Salsa »

I can't access the radio broadcasts. Let me detail what steps I go through.

1-I have downloaded Windows Media Player and its icon appears on my desktop
2-I can log in to CSTV.com Media Player
3-I can access the BG CSTV.com Media Player webpage
4-On the BG webpage, at the left there there is a square inside of which is an orange BG Falcon logo with a tool bar at the bottom. It says "Ready" and has a Play button, speaker symbol, etc., but the broadcast does not come on. To the right there is a listing of the broadcasts, e.g., BG-Ohio football.
5-I've clicked on everything on this BG webpage-- "Ready", the Play button, the Volume control, etc. but nothing happens.
6-Can anybody help?

Go to WBGU's website, download Quicktime and listen to the stream there, the game is on there too, and it's free.

That's one answer, but if you've already paid for the audio through the website, I wouldn't settle for the "free option" without some scratching and clawing.

Unfortunately, I don't listen through the CSTV pass or whatever its called, so I can't be of much help. Good luck, though, Salsa!

The problem may be with the installation of Windows Media Player. Just a guess. I just signed up; it took me about a minute. But I already had Media Player and I use it all the time.

What browser are you using? If you don't use Internet Explorer, you may want to try it. It may synch with Media Player better.
