From what i was cueing in on via raido, ouor D sounded very stout and sure footed.
is this the perspective from those who were at the game? our D is coming in to their own, and growing.

The O was not very good yesterday, but it was extremely windy, folks. That's why the longest pass we attempted yesterday was about 15 yards downfield. Going into the wind in the 1st and 3rd quarters for our offense was brutal. Combining the wind and UB's solid D and we "only" scored 27 points.
As far as the D - they were outstanding. It seemed like we wore down their O line because we were all over the QB in the 4th quarter. Mayberry made a nice pick in the 2nd quarter and then Jordan made a great PBU in the 4th that deflected right to Mayberry for the 2nd pick. Deaudre Perry is turning into a stud in the defensive backfield. Monty Cooley went down in the 2nd half and it looked bad, but he came back in to look fine.
Special Teams -- let's not forget the one kickoff that actually stayed between the sidelines had an offsides penalty.
