Yes, he was there, but I don't remember seeing him on the field and I was wondering why. Not sure why, maybe he was banged up or something?

He hasn't been healthy, but with the road roster, I wouldn't think you'd take someone you didn't think was going to play.

Corey has not been healthy since Wisconsin. It was really bad last Saturday against OU. He was keep out of contact at practice all week and was not going to play unless there was an emergency. He did make the trip. I would have thought he would have stayed home with PJ.

Not sure why he travelled, the plan was not to play him and to get him ready for the rest of the schedule.

Spart, I really hope Corey can get back healthy soon. I'm sure he's p*ssed about having to sit out, but I hope he realizes that he has a long Falcon future ahead of him! He has very quickly become one of my very favorite players on the team this year, if only for how great he is with the kids that approach him. I guess he's a pretty darn good reciever also.

Corey loves the kids. In high school he always took the time to stop and talk with the young kids that followed the high school team and looked up to him. He would always sign autographs for them and play catch with them. He always made it a point to work the summer youth camps every year and to spend that little extra time working on skills with the kids. I am glad that some things never change. I hope he will always continue to be that way.

Spart,

I kept asking BGSU 99 and 96 if they saw Corey on the field cuz I know I didn't. He was dressed but didn't play.

And he is great with the kids! I hope he gets healthy pronto cuz he is a threat on the field and fun to watch!

I second Bleeding Orange on this one. Noah & I had a chance to chat with him after the game. Incredibly gracious young man!
