HOLD ONTO THE BALL!!!!!!
Tommy Maddox needs to learn how to hold onto the ball when you are in field goal range in OVERTIME! How can you fumble the ball when nobody is around you? Way to blow the game. Come back soon Big Ben.

Everyone wants to be in someone else's shoes- Steve Sanders

I dunno, I thought he played it perfectly. Both times.RossfordFalcon wrote:Tommy Maddox needs to learn how to hold onto the ball when you are in field goal range in OVERTIME! How can you fumble the ball when nobody is around you? Way to blow the game. Come back soon Big Ben.
Of course with the egg the Browns laid this afternoon (again!), I don't know that I have much room to smack talk.
Of course, it's the Steelers, so I'll smack talk away.

Even if the Steelers win, they are still 2nd place.

whatever you have to say about the bengals is fine by us Cincy fans. we've waited way too long for this team to roll and you cannot take away our fire.
you can't blame the steelers loss on tommy maddux. i know he was a factor, but the big steeler D could have stepped up and made it a little easier on the offense.
on the other hand... i hope you get Roethliswhogivesa back soon. you're offense is screwed without him.
WHO DEY?

Tommy maddox was rustier on Sunday than a Kia in Pittsburgh weather. He played terribly and you can absolutely blame the loss on him.
The Steelers are fine -- they nearly beat a very good team (that beat the bengals btw) without their best two offensive players. The defense will keep them in every game they play even if the offense sputters.
The Bengals are a good team, but they lost to the only good team they have played. Of course the Steelers haven't really beaten anybody either so the same argument could be used each way. I expected the Ravens to be the competition for the North this year but I'd rather have it be the Bengals. I am very confident that Palmer can not beat the Steelers when the game is on the line. We'll see how much he has matured from last year -- us Steeler fans hope not much. It will be interesting to see how this race develops as the weeks progress.
On a side note, I've always kind of pulled for the Bengals to get back to respectability. It's nice to see the loyal fans down there finally have something to cheer about again.

I dont think it matters how good a team is in the NFL. any team can go out and beat anyone on any given day. Miami demolished the Broncos who are rolling and looking like the best team in the NFL but that doesnt make the Phish the best team in the league. Just because Pitt NEARLY beat JAX doesnt mean crap. its still a LOSS. BY THE WAY THE BENGALS NEARLY BEAT JAX AS WELL.Jacobs4Heisman wrote: The Steelers are fine -- they nearly beat a very good team (that beat the bengals btw) without their best two offensive players.
