If this game were on the road, I would be concerned that this game would be close. But our teams have always played tough at home, and I really like our chances of having a pretty comfortable win this weekend. I would predict the final to be somewhere in the 48-14 range. The defense will give up a touchdown or two, but the offense will start humming and put up points right away against a below average secondary. Lane also runs for over a 100 yards again this week.

Akron? Kent State? Tough? Those two are better than some of the others (Ball State, Buffalo, WMU), but I wouldn't lump them in with Miami and/or UT.
I'm not saying that Akron or Kent are as good as Miami and UT, but Akron can score and Kent just played a tight game on the road against a decent Navy team, and we play at Kent.
I just think that each of the last 4 games will be tougher than each of the 4 games preceding those.
I believe this will be the first real test for the Defense since boise. The WMU passing game should be on point, however I like our odds in this one. If the D-line gets consistant penatration the secondary will pick off hurried throws. The LBs will have to stay at home and play smart. This qb may take off if givin an opening. Offense should score points every possession.
I agree with DrBucko. It is never good to run your mouth before a conference game. WMU is making BG look like a high school team. Wow! What a difference one year makes!
It really is too bad. This season was BGs to win their first MAC title since 1992. Now it looks like BG just gave the title back to Miami or Toledo. Until Brandon learns that special teams and defense are just as important as offense BG will never win a title with Brandon as coach.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but BG still controls their own destiny. Not that it looks like we will be able to win out, if we did we would still go to a bowl game a win the MAC. Cannot say as much for Oklahoma at this point in regards to their BIg 12 chances.

Well he can't talk crap about any team on their schedule this season so he has to come give it to a team they beat a season and a half ago... what a dick.

BG has the worst special teams of anybody in the MAC and their defense is almost non existant. Tell me if I am lying. Missed extra points, blocked punts, KO returns for TDS. Last, eventhough I am a Sooner fan and got my Masters degree from Oklahoma. I got one of my undergratuate degrees from BG. My father is a huge contributor to the university and I have attended more BG games then have or ever will. I was at the game today and know a little bit more about what happened today than you!! BG had no clue how to stop WMU and as usual Brandon chocked up when they fell behind. He sucks as a coach, so get used to losing as long as he is in charge.
