Makers Mark isn't bad if you are going to mix it with something. I just don't like it straight. I prefer Buffalo Trace and will be bringing more to the miami game, (if you had my chili, that would also be one of the key ingredients). Knob creek isn't too bad either, I find L&G Woodford Reserve to be to harsh for my liking.

For beer Yueng is excellent (still have 2 left, if you're coming down to Oxford J4H). Though I had some in a can (I think the black and tan), and it was awful. I'll stick to my 22oz bottles. I haven't really found a great lakes beer that I really like.

This one is pretty good, but I don't think it is bottled.

Really? Wow...I LOVE Great Lakes. Dortmunder & Eliot Ness are my faves, but I also like a Burning River occasionally. In actuality I think Great Lakes is one of the most decorated microbrews in the country, I'm quite fond of all their beers. If you get a chance to hit the brewpub in C-town I'd highly recommend it. On Saturdays they also do brewery tours every hour, on the hour from like 2:00-8:00.

Haven't tried Yuengling, so cannot comment on that.

Oh, but my friend you need to! Once you drink it you'll probably find your brain lying on the ground behind you though, so be warned. It will be much too hard to compute the thought: "something this good came out of Pennsylvania?!?!" and the pressure in your head will be too much.

You've been warned! :D

Price has nothing to do with quality. By this logic, Kias are great cars also.

In some parts of the country, Natty is considered a premium beer and is priced as such. It still tastes like donkey piss.

when a kia is all i can get, it is the best car for me. Take ford for example, i hate ford. But my ranger was less than $2000. So I'm going to be happy with what i got, because it aint going to change anytime soon.

The word 'good' shall NEVER be used to describe Natty...EVER :!: You want a good cheap beer get Slitz, Blatz, Plast etc...

Personally, my favorite beer is Leinenkugel Red Lager. Good stuff. However for tailgating I prefer either Coors or Corona.

I'm a strong-tasting-beer wimp, so my favorite is Michelob Ultra, which BGFan is always teasing me by saying: "I can't taste my beer!!"

(Thought this forum needed to go off topic a little after yesterday's depressing game... 8) )
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I like Mich Light, (my perferred domestic/cheap brew), However Mich Ultra is just to girly for me. I really wish most bars hadn't replaced light with ultra. Seriously who gets a beer after working out anyways. Waste of hops and barely. Sorry to turn another thread into a bitch fest :D Back to positives, I really like Mich Amber bock for its price per pitcher at my local watering hole.

I assure you there isn't much of either ingredient that is getting wasted in that stuff. More like Corn & Rice ;)

You may be right.

I had two stiff ones at halftime, and they didn't warm me up at all.
