Anyone know what happened to Omar?
Anyone know what happened to Omar?
There is already a post on this but everyone is just bitching back and forth like children about leaving at halftime, so does anyone REALLY know what happened to Omar and the severity? It would be nice to find out without searching through 3 pages or arguments. Thanks.

it all depends on how reliable your coach is. in general the coach isnt going to comment without being certain of the injury to a certain degree. everyone thinks of al groh as shady, but he was accurate in his initial comments on d'brickashaw ferguson when he got injured, and he really did have a sprained ankle and no ligament damage as the rumors stated. if brandon says seperated shoulder, i would need visible proof to believe otherwise.

The real question is how long were YOU at the game?Im_Full wrote:There is already a post on this but everyone is just bitching back and forth like children about leaving at halftime, so does anyone REALLY know what happened to Omar and the severity? I drove from New York. NOT.
Four quarters of the Buffalo game
Now please, I started this thread for a reason. I don't want this thread to turn into a discussion of anything but Omar and his health. I could give a s**t less how long people stay the game. I go to Syracuse games. People leave after the 1st quarter now. It's a minor issues when you guys are arguing over leaving at halftime. Please, Omar only!

Yeah, I have nothing constructive to add to the info. on Omar, but I have to agree with Im Full. Omar only. There is enough bitching going on in every other active thread in the football forum.Im_Full wrote:I drove from New York. NOT.

And I think I may have been the one to start all of that bickering in the Omar injury thread. My bad.

I posted this in another post, but I'll put it here too. I talked to one of the players after the game. He told me Omar separated his shoulder, and that he would be back, maybe not next week, but that he was "okay" and would play if not against Akron or Kent, in time for the Miami game. He said they sat him out for precautionary reasons. Now this player is certainly not a doctor, and maybe this is what the team is supposed to be saying as instructed by Coach Brandon, who knows? But that is what I was told, so we’ll see what happens from here.

like i said earlier, my first reaction to the way they were taking him off the field was seperated shoulder. they don't let a possible break hang like they let his arm hang. the rush to the hospital was probably to determine the severity of the seperation and any ligament damage.BGSU33 wrote:I posted this in another post, but I'll put it here too. the good news is that it was his non-throwing arm, so any time missed due to injury would be minimal.
