College Football Pick'em on Yahoo!

I won MAC Pick 'Em in this past basketball season! It came down to me and a guy from WMU into the final weekend of action. I'm already picking in football this season, but I'm only off to a 4-3 start. Damn MAC upsets....

Can I just say how bad I hate doing something & being AVERAGE!!!

I can try to blame Warthog for not telling me we were going to pick against the spread, but really, I just hate when I suck at things. The good news is that at least I am smart enough to make my picks every week, whether I get them right or not!

Okay, so maybe I SHOULD have made it to a few more classes. Although I don't know how much that would help me here, unless I mixed in a statistics course. Either way, my ego is definitely suffering!

I don't know if it just me but this weeks picks look really tough. Since UK was bragging about being in first in the MAC pickem I had to drag this up.

Way to go kdog, and Warthog too!!!

Let me just say again how bad it is killing me to be completely sucky & average at this (stupid point spread). But at least I remember to make my wrong picks every week!

I was right there within a point or two of the leaders, I think 2 back, before this week I forgot to make my picks

I know that I should remember on my own, but why has the Yahoo e-mail reminder been so intermittent? I know that Metz said he didn't get one either one week and forgot.

It's going to be pretty tough for me to makeup the ground lost by missing an entire week of picks, but I'll try...At least I'm still ahead of Botox

I feel your pain though botox...I hate losing, at anything, no matter how trivial & pointless.

That's pretty bad that you forgot to pick a week & I am still behind you hammb.

But even though I hate to suck at things, I take solace in knowing it is just for fun. When my office did it for $50 bucks a pop, we had no point spread & I rocked!!! So if I am going to suck, at least I won't lose any money off the stupid thing!

Nah, that wouldn't be fair to the rest of ya'll...I should've remembered to make my picks. Problem is I try to put it off till Friday or so, because they change the spread. Then I forgot this Friday, was busy at work, then went to the Elmwood-Otsego game, and golfed Saturday morning in a scramble. Would've been nice to have the reminder e-mail I woulda clicked the link and made the picks, but its my own fault.

I'll get my picks in this week and I'll just need a couple perfect weeks and I'll be back in this thing
