Post by Falconboy »

Saw this on the back of a BG News today. It appears as though they're having some Wood County appreciation day for the game and all WC residents can get tix for $7 bucks for the game. Take advantage folks!!!

A season chairback pass is $95. Assuming the cost of the games are $20 normally and $30 for Toledo, the total cost would be $110.

7 bucks isn't that bad of a deal at all. Maybe it will put people in the stands.

It suggests to me they are nervous about sales.

I bought my season tickets when they first could be ordered. Obviously, I'm not getting any kind of special deals now, but I don't care about what I paid as opposed to what others are paying over the coarse of the season either. If they start selling tickets at $1 apiece, if that's what it takes to fill the Doyt, I'm all for it.

As long as we get the seats filled up, then I'm down for any kind of promotion.

Flex Plan is 8 tickets for $120. Or $15 per ticket.

It's not a bad marketing idea regarding the weather and not really a marquee name, although the game is big. Might as well get one more good crowd in here before the UT game.
