Sounds like Timchenko might get a second chance
I thought I read in some posts earlier this week that Timchenko will probably get a second chance as the starting kicker again after the experiment with Fry didn't go much better. Whatever the case is, if Timchenko is back to being our starting kicker, I hope he can just erase the early portion of our season out of his mind and just step up and do a decent job for us. Make his extra points, execute the field goals you would expect to be made, and do a good job with his kickoffs. Let's face it, it can't get much worse, right? Or can it???? Here's to having hope!

IIRC, Fry has done pretty damn well with PAT's. The field goals, of course, are another matter, and the "out of bounds kickoff" bug is coming back again. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fry kick PAT's and Timchenko handle field goals and kickoffs. Maybe the coaches are making a correlation between Fry having more duties and his punting woes.BGSU33 wrote:And all we're really asking is for is one of our kickers to hit an extra point, which is basically a 19-yard kick staight on.
