Brandon Pissed...

Post by jpfalcon09 »

Hey guys, my RA who knows some of the football players said that Coach Brandon held the team to practice tonight until 9pm, saying they've been practicing like crap all week. If this is indeed true, it's about damn time the coaching staff stepped up and got in these guys faces.

I really start to question the on-field leadership of any team that would practice like crap after last week's game.

I wonder how many actually got the message coach Brandon was trying to give tonight and how many are at Ziggy's right now.

That's why I like coach Dakich and his rule that players aren't allowed at the bars during the season...

I'd hate to say it, but it seems to me that either the players have lost all of their confidence and don't think they can win the MAC anymore, or no one on this team can step up to the plate, take control and have the season come down to 4 games.

It's a shame that this team forgets they were highly touted before the season and 2 games past the midway point, they have no identity. I agree with orange about how it took this long to get the message. A football player in my biology lab said that on Sunday all they did was run 4 sprints...sickening. I'd have those guys busting their asses for 3 hours.

We'll know tomorrow whether or not this got through. Tomorrow's game is huge in terms of confidence. If our boys lose...it very well may be all she wrote, as bleak as that sounds.

Funny...the lights were on at the stadium around 9 but no one was there. I don't know how an RA would know where the players are the night before a game either. They don't stay in the dorms, they stay at the Quality Inn. I'm pretty sure the team was there by then, too, eating a team meal and then watching a movie called Crush. I am good friends with the manager there, just saying.

It is pretty funny (and quite sad) that we're so ready to jump on this team that we're taking some "he said's" about an RA to do so (I had the same reaction initially). There seems something fishy at the bottom of this one, though...

Isn't that one of those "chick films" from Sony Pictures?

I sense trouble afoot, folks.

It is Halloween weekend, maybe they picked a horror film to watch. . . I would recommend last Saturday's game. . . still makes me shudder.

Yeah, definite chick flick. We'll see how it reflects their playing today.

I find it funnier that when anyone makes a post against someone elses, people automatically assume they are jumping on the team or being so negative. He said something, I told him why he was wrong. Had nothing to do with jumping on the team. Why does everyone on here overreact about the smallest things in the world?!

It's gonna be intresting to see what happens today. This game will say a lot about the state of this team. I hope the players are as pissed as some say Brandon is and they react with a beating of the Zips.
