We need Toledo to win in a BiG way on Friday night
We need Toledo to win in a BiG way on Friday night
Friday night, Toledo at Ohio, on ESPN or ESPN2, I forget which one. As much as I hate having to pull for Toledo, I will if it can possibly help out BG, so I will. It should be a very good game as Ohio is playing very well and is undefeated at home, and Toledo is a pretty good team. After this one, I'm back to cheering against Toledo, but for now....Go Rockets. Yes, I said it.

Off the top of my head it seems to me that:BGSU33 wrote:Friday night, Toledo at Ohio, on ESPN or ESPN2, I forget which one. 1 Miami win the east as long as they win out.
2. Akron wins the East as long as they win out and Miami loses a game.
3. Ohio wins the East as long as they win out and Bowling Green loses one more game.
3. Bowling Green wins the East as long as they win out and Akron loses a game.
So Ohio-Toledo isn't that big a deal. We have a tiebreaker with Ohio.
I'm more concerned about Akron. If they lose, the Falcons (incredibly) would again control their own destiny as long as they keep winning.
Akron is at Ball State next Saturday, they host Ohio on Nov. 15 and they close by hosting Kent State on Thanksgiving.
Re: We need Toledo to win in a BiG way on Friday night
True, but Toledo vs. Ohio is still an West vs. East matchup and the MAC East team is currently tied with BG. What's more, we also can't forget, there still could be a three-way or four-way tie three weeks from now and depending on how the tie-breaks shake out, Ohio could still get by BG in a multiple-team tie if that happens (which it could). Gotta pull for UT.Schadenfreude wrote:Off the top of my head it seems to me that:BGSU33 wrote:Friday night, Toledo at Ohio, on ESPN or ESPN2, I forget which one.
