Can someone tell me what game the pic of the team surrounded by the crowd was taken at? Thanks!

I took the picture, but I have NO recollection of which game it was. It was 2 seasons ago...Josh's Junior year...anyone got an idea?

I'd bet it's from the last home Western Michigan game that we won in OT on a Harris run. Glantzis blocked a WMU field goal with 2 seconds left in regulation.

The win moved us into the polls for the first time, ranked 22 in USA Today and 24 in the AP.

Now THAT was a game!

Didn't the coaches have us No. 20 heading into the 1985 Cal Bowl?

I could be wrong about that.

Schade:

Yup, they sure did.

I loved that team - incredible, balanced offense, tenacious defense, solid special teams. Then Denny pulled his little trick and, well, the rest is history.

Not that I'm bitter, or anything.

That was a nail biter! And I also agree with you that the picture was from that game. Everyone just mobed the field after the game.

I'm pretty confident that was the WMU game. I can remember it almost as if it were yesterday. 80grad called me when we were down 2 TD's in the third (he saw the ticker on ESPN2) and I was going nuts b/c we had just tied it after an INT (I believe it was general Patton!) He can attest to how wild it sounded on the phone. The end of the game was just incredible too. Wow, such memories...
