James Hawkins Tryout

Post by jpfalcon09 »

Hey guys, James called me today and said he's going to a tryout in Columbus for the Destroyers of the Arena League, let's hope he can make the squad!

Good luck James. I think that J5 and Cole should join him, that would make a hell of a squad.

One heck of a statement there.

This league will fit hawk like a glove. If he can beef up a little bit and learn to block he may find a fit in the NFL as an H-Back/TE/FB.

You gotta be kidding right , JHawk was like 6'1 and 230+ in his senior year here. Don't think size will be a problem with James in the NFL or Arena League.

Well I'm thinking mainly at wide receiver. I don't know if JHawk is a TE/H-back/Fullback. We'll see if he has the skills for those positions , but yeah he would probably want to gain another 12lbs or so if he want' to play TE or something.

Hawk was about 220lbs....At 6-1" and change, it seems he'd be a great fit at safety (ran a 4.5-4.6 40 at pro day)

Can't believe I'm getting into a height and weight discussion with falconboy...it's like talking to Homer Simpson about doughnuts..
