Roster change

Post by BleedOrange »

At the risk of seeming obsessive (which I clearly am), I'm pointing out the Brian Moten was taken off of the roster on bgsufalcons.com. We all knew that he's doing some academic catch-up and will hopefully re-join the team sometime this year. Is there any recent news on him?

He's been off for awhile now. I believe he is going to be taking the ACT's and SAT's soon and will be elgible to play this year depending on his results. But hey, if golfer can get into BG with his scores, I'm positive Moten can get on the team.

I really hope Moten can finally get his academics in order, this seems to be a real sticking point for him. I'm excited to see hopefully see him in uniform at BG, I think he's going to be a good one.

Just a little FYI on Moten he already is eligable for next semester he didnt pass his ACTs early enough to become a full tim student making him not qualified this semester. But he has since gotten his scores, has passed, and will be a full time student in the spring.

That would be huge if it's the case. When does the current semester end at BG to allow him to become eligable for the next?

The last day of the Fall semester is 12/16. Hopefully, he'll be available for the 12/17 game v. Florida State.

Right...because the coach is going to allow a player who hasn't practiced all fall on to the team his first day of elgibility.

Who says he hasn't practiced? The coaches can allow anyone they want to practice with the teams.

Remember, Keith McLeod was in the exact same situation his freshman year. Dakich played him 31 minutes in the first game he was eligible, which was also the very day after the first semester officially ended.

Check out the summary from "game #9":
