The punt formation
Our Punt formation must go!
Its execution, and total inability to protect our punter are more than reason enough.
GB, you need to fix it, or mark my words, we will lose the MAC EaST

Did you notice we used a different formation for the last punt? It was more of a tradiotinal style. That was probably because we were punting from the 35 and weren't expecting the punt to be returned. Therefore, we went with max protect and didn't worry about covering it.

I hate it, but I didn't think they were all that close to blocking any kicks today. Also, at least 2 of the punts were options for Fry. He could run it if he had room or kick it. Both times he looked like he wanted to run, but then decided to kick when he got close to a defender or realized he wouldn't make it.
Kent's returner had 3 returns for -2 yards. Fry had a 41-yard average and one downed inside the 5. I would say the punt formation worked the way it is designed today.

Nope
UT will not be blocking any punts either. I'm actually hoping that the falcons don't block any of the Rockets' punts. I think that three have been returned for touchdowns against UT this year.I doubt Miami'll block a punt.....
UT is listed in the 2004 edition of The Unofficial, Unbiased Guide to the 328 Most Interesting Colleges by Trent Anderson and Seppy Basili as one of the U.S. schools with the “Most Beautiful Urban Campus.”
