A HUGE Well Done to METZ and company for bringing their trumpets to the game and playing all of our favorites during the game. They even played post game Ay Ziggy Zoomba for the team!!!
The two of them were 5000000000 times better than that excuse for a band at Kent State.
Thanks guys- you kept the spirit going in the crowd and we were able to pass it on to the team!!!!!

I really doubt they'll let us in with them down there. Kent St is just happy people show up to the game, Miami is Miami.

I thought the FMB made the trip down there in 2003, or am I mistaken? If they were, why not this year?
I'll answer my own question: they're ALL communists.

You mean Miami is a bunch of pricks, right?
Those would be less severe words than I meant but they still hold the same meaning

the entire band didn't go, just a sampling of players on each instrument. there was a group of about 30 or so i think.
as for why not this year, i have no idea. maybe they will.
that's awesome you guys brought the trumpets. i totally would have joined you in playing if i would have made it to the game.
also, yes... some of us went and played in a pep band at the last miami game. i was one of them. and it was a horrible experience... if they end up getting a pep band together, be prepared. the miami fans are definitely "pricks"... (although i believe most of us have different words for them...)
