OMG! BEAR DOWN!

Post by TG1996 »

Arizona leads #7 UCLA 45-7 in the third quarter. If we aren't treated to a night's worth of incoherent drunken talking himself by Bleeding Orange, I'm going to be horribly disappointed!

Holy crap. 52-14. WHAT?!?!?! 2nd greatest football game I've ever witnessed in person. Un.....er....wildcatbelievable (somehow that just doesn't work well with this mascot :P ).

My dad and I are in awe. Absolute awe. You should have seen the students rush the field - with TWO MINUTES left in the game! They just stood on the sidlines for the last two minutes! I've never seen anything like it.

I have about 50 great pictures from the game and the Homecoming festivities (which was, by itself, outrageous). If I could just figure out how to publish them to the web I'd post them. You would not believe some of the things I saw today.

And the best part? BG beat Kent. Some habits die VERY hard - or, well, not at all.

Back to my regularly scheduled alcahol, but thank you TG for the invitation!

great day for both of us, UVa dominates (I know, it was Temple, but it was refershing to see us not play down to the level of our competiton for once), BG wins, and vt gets exposed on national tv.

I don't think Marcus vick would like to hear the words VT and exposed in the same sentence ever again.

some great quotes from the game.
"Those guys on our defense are unbelievable defense. We are much
better than Tech at every positon on defense. Marcus Vick was 3 for
11 with two interceptions at one point and everybody had anointed him
the second coming. We felt like as long as we could come out and put
a couple of scores on them early, they'd start pointing fingers because
they do have a bunch of talkers, complainers, and front runners on that
team." Eric Winston

"As usual VT is overrated. They win a few games against DII like schools and people want to put them in the championship game. Well we showed them that you can't talk your way into those games. Ask the players from our program who have 5 championships" -- Kyle Wright-UM Quarterback

Miami has no room to talk, ever since 2002 they haven't been the same Miami. Then again, a team of criminals might not be something you want to pride yourself on.
