our amazing redzone D shows up again late and we hold on for the win. also our last touchdown actually comes from a Charles Sharon punt return for a TD!!!!!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

How many times has Shane Montgomery beaten us?...... Thats right none. Throw the past out. Life is all about cyclisity (new word) and homeostasis. BG ends the past drought and usheres in a new era.

BG 38
Preppy Tech- 17

And if that prediction doesn't come true, I guarantee this one will.

You are certainly correct there. I am NOT looking forward to the 2:15 drive back home next Tuesday night. It will be alot easier following a big win, though. I also predict that I will have difficulty staying awake at my desk next Wednesday.

I'm with HJ....I'll wait for a few days but I really do have a great feeling about this game. I just can't put my finger on why.
Maybe it's because I see this team tired of eating crap about the first 9 games....a team that will bring its A game cuz it needs to.

Not gonna make an actual prediction. However, let me say this- OU will not win the East. They will not beat both Miami and Akron, which they must do to win it. They've improved, but I think UT showed them that they're not quite over the hump yet. If MU doesn't represent the east, I want BG to.

Not making a prediction yet until I know the QB situation. I'll say it again -- I don't care about tiebreaker scenarios or who plays who. The winner of this game wins the East.

I really hope that you won't be making a prediction, then. We have a real advantage here with Omar being questionable for the game. Omar and AT are two distinctly different quarterbacks, and we run distinctly different offenses with each (RE: the "Harris" type of offense we run with AT).

I hope Miami's DC does not have a proclivity for ulcers... 8)

I don't think anyone is going to know who the QB will be until the first BG offensive snap. Brandon has shown the "Belicheckness" to be coy about the injury situation and I see no reason why he would stop now.

If there is a positive to this situation, it is like you said forcing a new head coach to prepare for two totally different styles of the spread offense. I don't think it will be a huge factor, but it has to have some influence on their preperations.

Proclivity. I just wanted to say it too.

Proclivity. What a great word, eh? :P

I personally think you are a moron and that it will be a pretty big factor in the game, especially if we figure out that rotating Omar and AT at times, no matter who starts, could be a very good thing in a game of this magnitude.

And no, your above stated opinion is not why I think you are a moron.

I agree with what you said in your other post about people not giving away any secrets from practice. Anyone who does give away info. about Omar's status in practice this week should be banned from this site permenantly, and we should also have some serious conversations about publicly executing said moron.

BG wins 28-24!

I cannot imagine that Omar will not play. This is the biggest game of the year, if he can stand up and throw, he should play. He will have plenty of time to recover in the offseason. If AT plays, I still think BG wins because I think the coaching staff will open things up a little bit with him, something they haven't done that last couple of games and it will catch MU off guard.

I think this is a telling game for Coach Brandon. He can win back a lot of supporters with a victory. Another nationally televised loss to a good MAC team and more and more people will be on the FIRE BRANDON bandwagon.

If Brandon can put together a gameplan that wins this game regardless of QB, as well as not lose the third quarter, he will have taken a couple steps in the right direction. Those are two improvements he needs to make quickly if he wants to be recognized as a good coach.
