I've seen less and less student marketing, so I have my doubts about anything for the oledo game.

On top of that they're making the locals pay a higher ticket price than usual, when they don't come out for other games anyway.
If you bought the flex plan season tickets, they all cost $15 a piece.

Speaking of which, I will probably have two tickets available if anyone is interested.

BG fan in Toledo wrote:While on the subject of the Toledo game, does anyone know if there will be a business, etc. providing thunderstix? They may be annoying to some, but they make a lot of noise which is a good thing since unfortunately the game is on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week and on tv so if the weather is not cooperating, we need ALOT of noise!! I hope the marketing dept. can get that together and we have alot of fans there to root on the Falcons!!!
I have it on good authority that there will indeed be THUNDERSTIX at the BG-UT game.

This just in: UAO will be sponsoring a tailgate event on the west side of the stadium for all of those interested. Not exactly sure what's gonna happen with it, but regardless this is great news. More details to follow when I get them! Don't ask me how I know, cuz I'd have to kill ya!

As far as the date of the game, I think it's great. Classes end on Wednesday and classes are canceled on Thursday. The dorms are open until thursday afternoon, so it's very possible to stay for the game and head home afterwards or early the next morning. It really all comes down to sacrifice and how bad you want to support your school and see great football. It will be a great game against a hated rival. Hopefully we'll fill the Doyt once this year!

And it's even easier considering the game's on Tuesday!!

Anytime... I was starting to worry that I'd be fighting another "day after game" hangover at the Turkey Day table!!!

OK, a 20X20 tent is $320 + $75 for the BG fire permit. I'll foot the bill, but will need help from people to cover it. I'm still paying off the last tent. Passing the hat around only covered about 1/2 of the fee. So I'm counting on people to pitch in!!

As far as food/drink/etc goes.. bring lots of stuff that doesn't require energy to prepare. :-) I feel bad for the people that are stuck always cooking. Maybe just lots of snacks and desserts!

Hopefully I'll be able to take half a day off and get over to BG pretty early... it would really suck if I had to work till 5 that day. Grrrrrrrr....

You know I'll be there. I'm hoping rather early. I'm flying into Detroit at 6:00 that morning. That is also the day that the new XBox comes out and I'm going to try my best to find one. If I can find one early I'll be going out to start tailgating at probably 1:00 or 2:00. Could be later if I spend all day running from store to store.

As for those of us that are always cooking, I really think most of us like it! I know that I like to cook, it's really no biggie for me. Freak certainly seems to enjoy the grill as well :)

Let's get some cash guys. These tents rock, but they do cost some jack. It's the holidays, and Grant gives us this site all year. I think it's the least we can do to give him enough to pay the tent off!

Classes end on Tuesday. There are no classes Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Resident Halls Close at 10am on Wednesday.

so yes students can still go, and just be out 10am the next day, but the days you have things ending and closing are wrong.
