BG/Miami Predictions
Me too! I don't know whether it has been the quality of our opponents this year or what, but it doesn't seem like these guys have the outward fire coming out of the tunnel and in warm-ups that past teams have had. If they aren't bouncing off the locker room walls prior to this one, something is wrong.truth wrote:I want to see a fired up team.

And if that prediction doesn't come true, I guarantee this one will.
PGY-Lots of beer and Chili for several hours before the game.
UK-One long 2hr ride home with PGY
I will be getting to the game late. I am running part of the local Product show (the education seminars) Tuesday night. I should get out of Dayton about 7:15 and be in the Stadium by 8:15. My youngest is going with a friend and I will catch up with them in Oxofrd.
I will PM you and/or UK..... maybe we can hook-up at the game.
Nicholas is pulling for BG...... I am still waffling

Correct you are in your prediction Tech. Though it will probably be both, and god help us if were drinking Kentucky Ale cause that stuff just likes to stay around.Tech83 wrote:

Nicholas is pulling for BG...... I am still waffling. My buddy (who played for Miami) is thinking BG gets revenge for 2003....... I honestly think Miami's play (particularly defense) has gotten stronger over the season..... It will be a great game.
Was hoping you would be able to get out of town and down to the game earlier. Was planning on saving you and Nicholas some chili. Send me a PM. Would certainely like to meet you at the game. I'm thinking the only way you can go is with a Miami shirt and a BG hat. Tell Nicholas and his friend to look for the BG and UK flags flying if they get there early and want something to eat or play some cornhole.

I think that the game against UT will be much closer for BG than this game against Miami. My pick:
falcons - 14
Skinhawks - 42
falcons - 14
Skinhawks - 42
UT is listed in the 2004 edition of The Unofficial, Unbiased Guide to the 328 Most Interesting Colleges by Trent Anderson and Seppy Basili as one of the U.S. schools with the “Most Beautiful Urban Campus.”

I was going to wait tp post a prediction until we found out if Omar was gonna play. We won't know until Tuesday night.
I think we can win this game with AT, if we have to. This is exactly the game this program needs to win. Hasn't been an easy year but we can still snatch that East title. I think we'll be cool under pressure and grind out the win. Losing is not an option Tuesday night....
BG 30, Miami 24.

i really don't know what to expect here. game depends on which bg and which miami team actually shows. to be honest, i think miami has a slight edge at home, but not sure how much it will help. if omar plays, how effective will he be? if not, can turner lead bg in a huge road game? which josh betts will show for miami? he hasn't particularly played well in big games, imo.
i'm not confident about the pick, but i'll give the edge to miami since we're at home and say miami 34-31.
with that said, i could easily see it going the other way. hope to see you all on tuesday.
