Yeah, Todd's call was classic!! What an ending? 3 inbounds plays... then a tip in by the opposing team! Wow...

WHAT A GREAT GAME! I listened to every second of it. The team really play their buts off today. I am very proud of them.

Wow Floyd played amazing today. 17 and 7 most of it coming in the 2nd half.

I guess all he needed was a kick in the behind at the practice after the Western Carolina game. Obviously Dakich was upset with him, since he did not start. With that all said, he really came up big today. Dakich really showed him some trust by putting the ball in his hands the last 11 seconds. Hopefully we can get play like that out of him all the time.

We really need to stop fouling people. If we continue to foul like we have the last two game we are in trouble. Especially Mowel and Matt. We need both of them in the game for rebounding and Matt's inside presence.

Samarco really had a great game today too. He has a natural ability to score and thats what the team needs now with Steve and Dusan out. He got really hot in the first half and continued solid play throughout the game.

I really liked how the new ones stepped up today when Moon, Mowel, and Matt got into foul trouble. Erik Marschall hit some big shots and made some big plays late in the game.

Anyway I hope the team can continue great play like this throughout the season. They just beat an ACC TEAM AT THEIR PLACE. I know Va Tech is more known for football but hey it is still an ACC team they just beat.

(Sorry Roundball I was just so caught up in the moment that spelling was not a big concern to me.)

I don't think they like Coach Dakich very much. Also I like how they said the refs must have been MAC refs because we were getting all of the calls. They were quieted down when a poster mentioned that they were ACC officials. Clearly they are all devistated by the loss. Especially to a MAC team that isn't suppose to do much in their own conference.

I love it.

Those are so much more fun to read when it's not your team that lost.

Don't they look silly complaining about anything they can get their hands on? Clock, officials, officials and the clock, buzzers... ahhh... GREAT WIN FALCONS!!!

The game seemed like...

Post by Falconboy »

A big tease for the longest time. I thought for sure VA Tech would make an enourmous run and torch us down the stretch, all I can say is big kudos for the boys not letting up and for just hustling the entire game. Never would've thought that we'd be in the game at halftime let alone actually have a chance to win and win! :D Man I'm stoked. I still don't see us going 20-9 like Metzger thinks but maybe there is some hope for better season than I initially thought, especially if we can get the fouls toned down and get Moten and Sullivan and maybe Dusan in the action.

Go FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW BEAT RADFORD!!!!!!!!!! :supz: :supz: :supz: :supz:

A very, very solid momentum building win for Dan and the guys. My favorite part of Todd's call "I think Floyd will get credit for it, but I don't give a damn, Falcons win!"
