Two things I learned from that clip:

1. The clock operator did not start the clock on-time twice in the final few seconds

2. Dakich's extra practice session went until 3 AM (must have watched "Miracle" recently and liked what Herb Brooks did)

I think Herb Brooks learned that from Bob Knight.
