Directions to Miami

Post by Metz »

Anyone have good ones? I can't get Yahoo Maps or Mapquest to friggin load right now so I figured I'd ask around.

Metz -

Take I-75 south past Dayton and the I-675 Interchange.

Take the exit after the I-675 Interchange - SR 73 (Springboro/Franklin)
You will be about 30-40 minutes from Oxford at this point.

Turn right onto 73. Stay on SR-73 for about 20 miles.... You will drive through Franklin, Middletown, and Trenton. Just keep your eyes on the SR 73 signs.

You will go through Trenton and out of Trenton about 5 miles . 73 will intesect with SR 127. Turn right (North) onto 127/73. Go about 3 miles. And 73 will turn left. There should be a sign for Oxford (7 miles).

SR 73 will take you right into Oxford. You will come up the Hill into Oxford and to a Traffic Light - turn right. (You should hit game traffic in this area).

Go to the next Traffic light (about a block). Turn Left onto High Street.

Go a very long block to the next Traffic Light. Turn right onto Talawanda.

Follow Talawanda to the Millett Hall Parking lot - You are there and it will cost you to park (I think either $5 or $7).

If you want to Park and Ride - you can park at Ditmer Parking lot or Cook Field.

Go to http://muredhawks.collegesports.com/spo ... tions.html for two very nice PDF files. The one has the map of the directions I just wrote.

Feel free to PM me.

Actually, I'd suggest taking 75 South to 70 West. Get off at 127. Go through Eaton. Just south of downtown Eaton, you can make a choice:
a) bear left and follow 127 south to 73 west - following the end of the directions above or
b) bear right and follow 732 directly into Oxford.

732 has some twists and turns, but it also comes into town directly behind Yager. At the first light in Oxford (Sycamore), turn left and follow the signs to the Millett parking lot.

Going this way cuts down on most of the dayton traffic and gets you to Oxford a bit earlier.

Google maps can give you all the detailed twists and turns.

Hope to see you all there!

Depending on when we leave, I might do that. I'll be going with one of my good female friends and a Mr. Daniel Sayles.
