I was being sarcastic about the pleased part.
according to the alumni website, the location is still to be determined.

The miami broadcasters are being sarcastic about why this game isn't on TV... "Well it's a hell of a game yadda yadda... we're down 29-0 why wouldn't they switch to pre-season b-ball"

I'm still steamed about it!

Yeah but they switched before the first quarter was even over. What really angers me is that they specifically said that those of us in Ohio would still get the game. I would be a tad more understanding without that comment.

I also have Dish Network and you could've heard me scream from Akron when I saw that freakin hoops game come one. I called Dish Network and after waiting for about 10 min, was told the game was now on ESPN U. One problem, I didn't have ESPN U. This morning I do. I missed the first 10 minutes of the 2nd quarter but was able to get it on another channel with 5 min left in the 1st half. I subscribed to ESPN U faster than Amstutz hitting a buffet table. I feel very fortunate that I saw over 75% of the game.

They were supposed to replay BG/MU at 6:15 this morning on ESPN U...instead, it was Ohio/Akron and then right into that damn hoops game again!!!

Oh well...I guess over 3 quarters on tape is still pretty good, all things considered.

Way to go Falcons....you kicked royal ass last night.

I called too and some guy (who sounded like he was in Pakistan) told me it was ESPN's fault. BTW - How much did it cost you to add ESPNU?
