Email ESPN radio

If enough people email Dan Patrick or Colin Cowherd they just migh talk about it. I threw in the big school bias by ESPN. That might just be enough of a hook..

According to the Blade, the game was still to be shown in Ohio, however, it was pre-empted in Columbus, and possibly even the Cincinnati area. However, a friend said that his folks in Toledo were able to watch it after 11. I also did see the start of the replay when I got back to Columbus around 3 am.

But to give ESPN the benefit of the doubt, there were probably more people in attendance at the UCLA hoops game, than in Oxford (5,200). Way to go Miami fans!

I don't know what people are talking about but I live in BG, have Time Warner and saw the whle game on ESPN2. I did not lose anything except for the beginning 2 minutes when they stil were showing the Ohio-Akron game. I have the game the whole time on Channel 34 in BG

The game was on in Cinti. I guess all of Ohio to the game, the rest of the country had to watch big time CBB. Not much of a second place prize.

Figures that BG plays great on national tv, and yet it wasn't really national. Eh, we got the win!

I lost 2+ hours of the game on Dish Network as well. Which stinks because last year when an extended game on ESPN caused an issue, they started the UT-Minnesota game on ESPN-Alt and they did not do that this time. They should have either moved the basketball game to the alternate channel, or the football game. I called dish network and there was nothing they could do because ESPN did not move the game to the alternate channel for them to pick up. ARGH!!!

Strangely enough, the press box at Yager Stadium lost the game - ESPN2 in Oxford switched over to the college hoops game.
I'm not as cool as Tony Gaver, nor will I ever be.
