Bet not.

Not when they jacked up the prices like they did. We cannot get 23k to come to a sunny, warm game for $15 a ticket. Now we expect to sell out in the cold for $26, just because its a rivalry?

The only way this game sells out is with a big UT contingent. With last night's loss I'll bet that they won't bring down nearly as many people for the jacked up price as they normally would.

Which means there will be some hung-over students driving home Wednesday morning. Isn't that great :?
Along with some hung-over alumni who are coming in and spending the night re-living their college days... :D

For any Glass City Credit Union members, I noticed in the BG branch last weekend they were selling tickets for $12 (or maybe $14) to members and includes a ticket to their tent. FWIW

Wish we could be there, regardless of ticket price.

I'm flying into Ohio on Saturday. I cannot wait. I was at the 2003 MBC and the 1997 game with OSU, but this will be my first game at the Doyt since the 1994 fat punter game with CMU (I expect a different result this time).

Man, the Fat Punter game is like a bad dream for me, and it never, ever goes away. This game with UT has about as much riding on it as that one did. I sure hope BG has a better result than that game though. I still think that guy is lumbering his way towards the endzone....was that the slowest TD run that you've ever seen? It was like watching it in slow motion, and we couldn't get one guy to make a tackle on him.

P.S. The good thing is, Toledo doesn't have a fat punter, though their place kicker is perfect on field goal attempts this year.
GO BG!!!

A) You bet your ass I'll be a hungover alumni reliving the college days. I pulled that one off quite well Akron weekend.

B) I'm sitting here today in a really nice, warm hooded fleece that I *REALLY* wish wasn't navy blue right about now. Or rather right about 7pm Tuesday night.

C) I just found out my ticket for the game has been secured.

D) The more I envision this game going down, the more I figure I've got two dilemmas ahead of me... Which couch to crash on that night, and whether I dive INTO the AZZ mosh pit after the win, or just enjoy from the fringes...

...and E) For those of you worried about "fat punter karma", I've got something in the works to rid us of those demons... now who has the bonfire?

Yeah, it will sell out. I hate to say it, but all you guys saying it won't are on crack. Last year we had no chance to advance to the MACC, but we had a very large contingent at UT. The fact of the matter is the two school's fan bases are right on top of each other. Sure, there will be a lot of Toledo fans there, but isn't it always like that? The game will sell out.

I think Mother Nature will be the difference between a sellout and some empty seats.
