Friday's Game with NMU on 107-7 The Fox

Post by falcons86 »

We've gotten together with the University and agreed to do the hockey game on Friday night because of WBGU's prior commitment with women's
hoops. So, for everyone in the Findlay/Bowling Green area, you can listen to the game on 107-7 The Fox. Pre-game at 6:50, face-off at 7:05. Unfortuntely, the Fox does not stream audio at this time, but that should change after the first of the year. Proud to be the flagship station for
Falcon sports....107-7 The Fox, WPFX. GO FALCONS!!!!

That's AWESOME news!! It means that HOCKEY is starting to be a little more important around here (like it used to be!)!! YEA!!!!!!! :partyman:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Yeah but---if they don't stream audio, I guess those of us at a distance won't get to hear the game :(

Findlay Falcon, sorry that you're so far away. Although if you're in Florida right now, I can't feel too bad, since it's a crisp 28 degrees here right now. :) Here's a link for Northern Michigan's webstream. As I said, the Fox should be streaming audio after the first of the year, and we are scheduled to do some more games after the beginning of January.

Thank you. Guess I will just have to satisfy myself with the NMU broadcast instead of a friendly BG voice. Yes, I am VERY glad that I am not up there right now :D I'm afraid that we will be back there soon enough though but at least I can see some of the games in person rather than listening to them from "afar". :D

GO HOCKEY!! We need to get some W's this weekend.

FindlayFalcon,

How is Florida? My dad and mom just went down to their condo in Largo...my dad is going to try and stay until April. Mom just doesn't like being away that long and will fly back in a few weeks.
