Final NMU 6 - BGSU 3

Post by FalconBlue »

What can I say, another loss. Any idea why Horrell has not been starting?
If you're ridin' ahead of the herd, take a look back now and then to make sure it's still there.

Don't know man. He looked solid at OSU the one game I saw him play. I've got no clue. Coach Palluch must know something we don't. I respect him and his decision though so yeah..

Maybe he isn't doing it in practice or hitting the books and is sending a message who knows.

BTW, that goalie for NMU was looking really good Friday night. I didn't see how many shots we got in on him, but we got a good number in, and a fair amount of "good" shots and one-timers, and he stopped almost all of them. NMU just hands down outplayed us. I was also impressed with the amount of pressure they put on us when line changes were occuring. This pressure seemed to rattle our players and force them into making some mistakes.

Good analysis. That pretty much sums it up. We had a TON of chances, just couldn't get it in the net. Let's hope for better results tonight!

GO FALCONS!!
BEAT THE WILDCATS!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
